What is customised training?

Commissions can be undertaken for design and delivery of management development programs and individual training modules.

Clients can choose from a range of training modules that will make management practises consistent across all areas of their business. An expert will be selected to follow the client journey through the full Training Cycle to client wrap up.

Client Journey

Training needs analysis

At Genius People we use a ‘staged’ process that follows the full Training Cycle as shown.

A genius people expert meets with the person who commissions the training (the sponsor), they will discuss the desired training content and explain the other relevant Training Needs Analysis methods to be used in designing the perfect training solution i.e

  • Candidate interview/questionnaire
  • Further sponsor interview/questionnaire
  • Team orientation

During the consultation period the client and expert will discuss and agree all aspects of the required solution, each module or program content and duration will be specifically constructed to deliver efficient training solutions within the agreed timeline without impacting operational performance. The dedicated expert is responsible for defining, documenting and managing all aspects of the project including a detailed plan for delivery.  Working closely with the client in order to deliver a clear, agreed scope and plan resulting in delivery to the agreed objectives within the agreed timescales.

At this stage the sponsor can expect the following to be agreed:

  • Training content
  • Training timetable
  • Training plan
  • Assessment requirements
  • Evaluation requirements
  • Follow up plan
  • Follow up timetable
  • Sign off requirements

Following sponsor sign off the training will be delivered to the agreed specification.

Follow Up

A follow up service is provided to ensure all commissions have a positive impact on client business practises deliver ROI.  Training can be deemed as unsuccessful when the knowledge and skills learned are not put to practical use in the workplace.  Our follow up service will clearly evidence the achievement of objectives by using a range of methods to ensure managers implement skills to produce real results.   

The variety of follow up methods will be used as appropriate to training program or individual work shops delivered.  Some of the methods themselves will go on to provide the organisation with documented continuous improvements as the individual continues to grow and develop, this documentation can be used for appraisal and quality management purposes.  Follow up methods may include:
