Who are we?

Genius People are the training arm of the Genius Group.

Originally established in Scotland, but now national, we offer funded and commercial bespoke training solution, providing innovative training to solve organisations skilling, recruitment, retention and progression needs.

We work across a wide range of clients but specialise in and around the credit and collection industry and departments offering this within organisations.

During these Covid 19 times we are committed to continuing to train staff in a flexible and safe way maximising the use of technology to offer an extensive range of remote and distance learning options to ensure continuity of delivery.

We have responded to the advice from the Government and we are fully embracing social distancing and other control measures to minimise risks to our employees and learners, including apprentices.

What we do

We are big enough to be able to service all your training needs but small enough to care, be accountable to what you want and require rather than just giving an off the shelf package.

Holding Government contracts for both England and Scotland we are able to offer cross boarder company wide solutions and in-depth knowledge of how to operate across the two.

We have levy specialists who will work with you at a strategic level to ensure you maximise your ROI on your levy and work with you to find the best solution for your organisation.

Jen from our directors

A learning & development specialist with over 18 years’ experience within the training industry. Skilled in the design and implementation of frameworks and Standards for apprenticeship delivery. Based in Scotland working closely with my colleagues in England to offer a national delivery solution for levy and non- levy clients.

I will work with clients to understand fully their needs and requirements as an organisation and offer innovative training solutions.

I have experience in working with large & SME organisations in a range of sectors to design and deliver bespoke training programs at all levels.

Alison Smith from our delivery team

A learning development specialist with over 13 years’ experience within the training industry. Skilled in the design and implementation of frameworks and Standards for apprenticeship delivery. Experience covers all aspects of, Financial Services, customer service, business administration & management for levy and non-levy employers.

I will work with clients to support the successful delivery of their apprenticeship programme.

Judith from our levy team

An apprenticeship specialist with over 12 years experience within the training industry.

Based in England working closely with my Scottish colleagues to offer truly national solutions to levy and non levy organisations.

I will work with organisations to find innovative , client based solutions delivering the results and ROI.

I have worked with a wide range of clients from FTSE 100 to micro businesses all with excellent results

Liz Crosland

A coach by nature, highly innovative and impactful, she takes a truly consultative approach to drive personal and professional development. With a creative, engaging and forward-thinking personality, she can build relationships and gain buy-in at all levels, enabling and delivering learning and development for an organisation.

Professionally presented, well-structured training design and delivery provides strong focus for her learners. Able to organise people and systems to achieve objectives and meet strict deadlines. Liz cares about her learners succeeding.
