What is an apprenticeship?

Scottish Modern Apprenticeships and Vocational Qualifications are work based Training Programmes, which enable individuals to combine employment and training. Modern Apprenticeships are undertaken while you are in employment (so you “earn while you learn”). Genius People offers apprenticeships in several occupational areas.

Modern Apprenticeships can be taken by people of any age, not just young people. Secondly, they are not only for the “traditional” areas of trades and crafts. Modern Apprenticeships are available for almost all occupations.
